Invitation to 7th Congress of the Orthopedists and Traumatologists Association

Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the organization committee, I have the pleasure to invite you to the 7th Congress of the Orthopedists and Traumatologists Association from Republic of Moldova. The Congress will take place between the 21rd and 23th of September 2011 in Chisinau, capital of the Republic of Moldova. The Congress will be held in “Dacia” Hotel (4*).

Congress topic:

  1. Problems of the osteosynthesis
  2. Treatment of the spinal pathologies
  3. DDH – developmental dysplasia of the hip
  4. Varia

We will work to organize a program of high scientific quality. We hope that the meeting will provide a unique opportunity for exchange of scientific and clinical information, and will facilitate interactions between physicians who deal with the treatment of musculoskeletal pathologies. Hope to see you in Chisinau in September 2011.

We welcome the submission of the abstracts on any topics listed in the preliminary program. Please specify the preferred form of the presentation: poster or oral presentation.

The papers will be published in peer reviewed medical journal ISSN indexed.

2. Manuscripts, together with the payment rate (50 MDL for each author per a page) should be submitted to the ATORM Secretary – Dr. Victor Ungurean. Address 190 Stefan cel Mare bd., Chisinau, R.Moldova. MD-2004.

3. Articles should include the following elements in sequence:
* Title;
* Authors  full name and surname, scientific and professional titles, the institution where they work;
* Work schedule should include: introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion and   conclusions, bibliography;
* Summaries  in English
* Bibliography should include: authors (surname and first initial), title of the article cited (original language), journal (the international abbreviation), year, volume, number of pages. Ex.: 1. Devaney EJ – Esophagectomy for achalasia: Patient selection and clinical experience. Ann Thoracic Surg. 2001, 72 (3) :854-8

4. The dimensions of texts (including references) should not exceed 12 pages. The size of a figure or table should be no more than ½ page A4, and the number of tables and figures in the text should be no less than one half of the number of typed pages.

5. Photographs, drawings should be of good and very good quality, being presented to the editor in the original (or scanned at a resolution of 300 dpi in TIFF format).

6. Articles that do not meet the above requirements will be returned to authors for necessary changes.
